2010 – 2012 500,000 sqft new construction state-of-the-art research and education facility including wet research, clean rooms, research core space and administrative space. Facilities include UMMS Advanced Therapeutics Cluster, comprising the RNA Therapeutics Institute, Center for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine and the Gene Therapy Center; the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences; and the Center for Experiential Learning and Simulation.

The four-story, 115,000 sqft facility is pending LEED Gold certification; Systems incorporate many energy-efficient features including one of the first applications of “chilled beams” in the state of Florida. UF’s new facility includes space for research, laboratories, academic, office, and conference and support areas.
