Integrated Sensors
Integrated Sensors and Control Systems:
The sensors and controls that DADANCO supply are designed to offer easy installation, integration and communication with a new or existing BMS system. The DADANCO sensors and controls include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Thermostats (Both programmable and non-programmable wired and wireless)
- Sensors (wired and Wireless)
- Humidity and dew point Condensation (Pipe or Coil Mounted)
- Drain pan mounted water sensor (wired only)
- Occupancy
- CO2
Condensation monitors are used to sense the formation of moisture on chilled water pipes in critical locations. Typically these sensors are shipped loose and installed up stream of the chilled beams. Only one sensor would be required per thermal zone.
Valve Packages
Valve Packages
DADANCO offers a wide range of valve packages, which can be supplied either loose or factory mounted. Motorized valves can be supplied with a wide range of actuators: including both modulating or floating, wired or wireless. Below is a list of some of the valve packages available.

The Sovereign 6-way control valve eliminates the need for 4-pipe coil. This valve takes the place of a change over valve and enables the building to take advantage of the added capacity of a 2-pipe coil for both heating and cooling. The Sovereign valve is supplied with a modulating actuator for either a 2-10V or a 4-20ma control signal.
Air Dampers
Air Damper and Control Options:
In order to control the air flow rate DADANCO offers a number of control and balancing options. This includes manual, pressure independent or motorized dampers. Below is a list of some of the available damper options.
- Air Damper
- External Manual Balancing Damper (not available on all units)
- Integral Hit & Miss Balancing Damper (Perimeter Induction Units only)
- Pressure Independent Regulating Damper (Constant Air Volume or CAR Damper)
- Motorized Damper
The Constant Air Regulator (CAR) works by modulating the orifice of its opening in response to duct pressure and requires no electric or pneumatic sensors or controls.

Grille, Enclosure, and Border Options:

The LVD Grille is available for use with the ACB30 and ACB35 Active Chilled Beams. This linear vane diffuser comes in a number of styles and can be supplied as both one and two way discharging. This grille can be installed so as to offer a continuous look within the space.

Metal wire cable suspension kits can be supplied for the installation of ceiling mounted chilled beams. These take the place of the threaded drop rods typically used and allow for faster installation and easier coordination to the ceiling grid. These can also be supplied with a seismic rating.
